Well it is not so DD anymore because I have been doing so much work on it. But i wont be afraid to. I have drove many trucks with spools in the rear and its not to bad. Pulling a trailer will suck but thats why im buying a mega cab. lol.

Can't the D60 take the abuse from a spool on pavement anyway?

d60 axles are tough and yes of course it can handle, only down part to the hole experience would be premature tire wear, esspecailly on bias ply mudders

I dont think ill have an issue with my D60 because of the Chromo 35 splines. They are the same shafts for a 60,70,or 80.

thats just plain cool.
pewpy the detroit didnt' work, but now you'll have no questions. if a tire ain't spinning theres definitly a problem and if you're runnin chromo 35spline axles, you'll puke the pinion out before anything....... should be very strong.

haha yup. I already broke on pinion with 4.10s so cant wait to see how long the 4.88 lasts. The next set of gears are going to be sent out to be cryo'ed.
