Hey guys I have an 01 ram and am curious as how to have my fog lights on and my brights (headlights) both on at the same time. Can any help me out here?
sk8terdude mine's been hooked up with the dual relay setup just as it was in that pic in the DIY.... has worked flawlessly for me since... Does yours have the dual relays? Did you do it like the diy?
Word of caution, certain places have a law where you can only run 4 lights at a time and brights are considered two per head light, that measn when you have brights on it counts as four.
Its illegal to have your brights and foglights on at the sametime....has to do with keeping idiots from blinding others, that is why all vehicles are setup to turn the fog lights off, but making it were they are on with the brights makes such a difference its worth it
Plus when I turn my brights Im not worried about seeing any cops
i have 2 relays in the fuse box. when i went to hook it up like the DIY one of the spades was missing in the part where you plug the fuse in. (idk whats thats called) is there 2 different ways to to this to make it work. i no it said something about it being diff on the 98-01 rams?

ya the newer ones have the dual relay setup.... Look about halfway down that diy and you'll see where we figured out a safe way to make it work with the newer ones
just pull the lower relay and put a jumper wire in it's place just like I have done in this pic:
I used a fuse holder and fuse on mine, but just because we were in the testing phase and I didn't want to burn it down It's not actually needed in this case. Up to you.
