from what I was told by Hughes is, if you just throw a cam and a F1 intake on the motor and run it, it will lose a lot of low end, and gain quite a bit of top end.
However, if you get a custom computer flash, or a tuner that can adjust timing/fuel curves, than you will notice significant gains over stock.
Basically, he told me, I can expect about 75hp/75lb/tq just out of the intake, cam, and computer tuner he recommended.
That would be highly noticeable...so, I'd try that first before pulling it all back apart. If it doesn't work to your liking, sell everything together, I'm sure you can make most of your money back.
