Default New 2 me 94 1500 w/ 5.2 steering wobble

Just got this truck & it has a wobble at low speeds alittle better @ higher speed but not great. What would be the likey suspects be? The truck has 32 X 11.5R 15LT tires. Auto Tranny
I had a jeep that did the same thing @ higher speeds & it was the steering stablizer. I was also thinking it could be the steering box
Any known issues? Thanks in advance

Been covered many many times. Search for death wobble / steering wobble. Breaks down to tightening up the steering box and fixing what's worn up front.

the most likely cause is a bad tire. balance, air knot, broken belt, etc.
you could try rotating them to see if it will move or go away.

if not tire, then maybe a track bar or tie rod.

unlikely the steering stablizer. that doesn't do much and some people run without them.

Default 1500 Wobble

Thans 4 the feedback
The tire are like new & were balanced. Guess it would hurt to rotate them anyway.
I'll try adjusting the steering box.

I'd look at the track bar first.

I found that when the front axle is tilted
To far forward and with a loose steering gearbox
It will create "death wobble" my solution to that
With my ram was I replaced the steering gearbox, $189 advance auto, and added
A pitman arm stabolizer from BD Deisel, $200 works perfect. I also went ahead
And not long after I replaced the tie rods and links, red lable carquest HD parts. with a new track bar bushing.
After all the fixing I wondered why the heck I didn't do it 3yrs sooner.
The truck drives like a dream with nice tight steering feel. Just my 2 cents.
Have a great day!
