Default Engine mount heat shields

These suckers are rattling and driving me crazy. I haven't spent too much time figuring out what holds them in place or if they are really needed. Can someone give me a quick how to on stabalizing them or if they can be ditched?

Ditched mine many years ago but Im in Cda, not my DD & seldom see stop n go.
Seeing your in TX probably best to keep them.
IIRC they are riveted to the motor mounts.

If you wanted to use an epoxy there a few out there that are extremely resistant to high heat.

Some of the products are overkill but you never know what you could use them for in the future.
