ABS data link connector?
Hi Everybody.
I'm new to the forum.
Bought a 1999 1500 ram quadcab 4x4 two weeks ago.
It has some problems, One is the ABS.
The ABS light is lit.
I've checked all the wiring and all the sensors. They are all within spec.
I read on the forum about the Data link connector that if you ground pin 13 you get the ABS light to blink the codes.
On my car the pin 13 is empty!
So does anyone have any ideas?

Seems the only way to read ABS codes is with a chrysler drb scanner...... Such fun.
The ABS sensor in the rear differential is usually the culprit here. Do you have RWAL? or 4WAL?
Welcome to DF!

the 13 pin trick worked up to I think 97.
A really good shop that has a DRBIII scanner or dealer is your only hope.
just in case it gets mentioned
The Actron brake scan doesn't work on any second gen, but does on some 3rd gens
