Trans question
Hi all new here I tried to search for the answer but could not find. The question i have is what year(s) transmission will fit and work with out mods to the wiring on my truck it's a 99 ram 1500 4x4 360 with a 46re.
The one in my truck is toast.

The only one I know for sure that will work is a 1999 auto transmission out of a 5.2L V8 or 5.9L V8 truck. From 1996-2001, the transmissions were the same basic type, but there were various wiring differences from year to year.
