I need to find longer/deeper grease caps for my 1996 2WD front spindle/hubs. Anybody know where I could find such an animal? Anything with a decorative ram/dodge logo?


Here is the reason why. I recently put a set of off-road wheels on my 2WD. Since the off-road trucks were 4x4 and thus had a different axle, the spindles were shorter and allowed for a shallow wheel center. The shallow wheel center works fine on my rear wheels (because the rear axle has no spindle), but doesn't work with the long spindle front hubs. In fact, the bearing cap sticks out past the wheel, which is fine, but I would like to have something more decorative (i.e. chrome) and deeper.

Any thoughts/help is greatly appreciated.

 

well dont know about any that are decorated or deeper but you might be able to use some chevy ones that are curved and still be able to use the original center caps
