Default single vs dual

right now on my truck i have the stock single exhaust with a glasspack in place of the orginal muffler. i was wandering if i would gain any performance or gas mileage by changing to single inlet dual outlet muffler and having dual tail pipes?

Nope, about the only thing to change would be the look and the sound. Exhaust mods won't net much unless you have other mods.

Performance will not be affected.

Sound wise, depends on your exhaust combo, with the Aero Turbine I used to run (turbo is my muffler now) I tried split duals and absolutely hated the sound and went back to a single 3" side exit.

i left my cat off for a while and it was louder but i got a highflow one and i gained low end , so i think its worth it to have a cat on ...
