Default Transmission questions

Not sure if this is the right spot to post this but I need some trans help. Engine is not running yet, when AT trans is in P , back tires turn along with drive shaft, they take a little force but nothing excessive to turn. I don't thing this is normal - I'm really a novice at this stuff

If the drive shaft is turning while the trans is in park, there is definitely a problem there. If you have an open rear end, spinning one tire, will cause the other tire to spin the other way.... but the drive shaft should NOT turn......

what would prevent my tc from shifting

Low on fluid. Shift linkage borked in some fashion. Internal problems....... Check the easy stuff first.
