the cps isnt defective cuse im getting spark and was told by local mechanic fuel sync cant be reset with out the truck running

 

Check the wiring for the cam position sensor. Didn't get pinched between engine and trans by chance did it? (yeah, I know. Its a real drag to get back in there.... stuffing the engine back that far under something really wasn't the best plan.)

 

You didnt remove the distributor by any chance did you?
