I think I can I think I can
Yep I did that by my self on my bday. Hell of a day, Dad's at work mom wont leave the house in fear of falling, sister aint going near it.
We looked at snow blowers for a while there but for what I'm paying and the money around this area to be made with snow plowing its gonna work out. If we had gotten a snow blower it was gonna be tracks.

A word of caution.... when setting up contracts there is a lot to consider.
How do you plan on being paid (i.e. seasonal contract, per event, per amount of snow)?
What is your snow trigger (i.e. trace,1",2"..ect)?
Does the contract include sidewalks, salting/sanding, or cleaning off the clients vehicles? What liabilities do you assume(i.e. if you salt the place and someone falls will they come after you)?
Who will complete the contract if your truck breaks down or is involved in an accident (i.e. binding agreement)?
What if a client does not pay?
Who will pay for property damage?
Does the contract price include spring clean-up and re-seeding of grassy areas damaged by plowing and salting?... remember salt leaches into soil and can kill plants, shrubs and grass
Do you need to register as a business with a tax I.D. or register with your local B.B.B?
What will you carry with you while plowing? (i.e. emergency supplies, tools, extra parts, blank contracts, ect..)
Have you been to www.plowsite.com?
Do you think the equipment you purchased is tough enough for major plowing?
Don't want to sound like an ***... but I just don't want to see you getting screwed out of money come winter.Just make sure you have all your bases covered before blindly entering the world of snow plowing.

Im going to answer the questions you posted the best I can
1. half are under the bussines and the other half are my grandfathers that he use to plow. He's older now and dosen't want to put in the hours like he use to.
2. Triggers are all 2" unless they want it done with a lower total (more $)
3. Clearing areas around the grage doors and behind there cars. I will not clean them off. Salting will be an addition cost.
4. Grandfather or the bussiness partner.
5. If they don't pay calling/billing them than court.
6. Insurance
7. Thats on them, If they want I can come back and reseed for an addintal cost.
8. Bussiness already has that
9. I'm gonna get there supply kit and I have a shovler with me.
10. Yes im on plowsite thats where I meet the dealer at. I saw you on there as well under worst stuck thread.
11. Yes I think my truck will do a good job. I now have 2 lockers on the truck so it should be able to push the snow around, if not I'll be taking bites out of it can keep working the pile down.
I know your not trying to be a dick I have had those questions asked so many times it is starting to really **** ME OFF!
And while its snowing mom's gonna be doing the billing in a spread sheet I already told her how I wanted it layed out.
I would say I have my bases covered for the most part. I'm not going out there my first year to make a killing just something. Which is why I'm not trying to take on the hole world at once. Maybe 2nd year add a few more. I don't know well see what happens the first year out and go from there.

Good luck plowing snow. That has always interested me. I'd love to have a plow someday just for playing around
