I think I can I think I can
From what I understand, Bolens tube framed and large frame tractors were the best ever made...Next to John Deere and International Cub Cadet.
Just a suggestion (and if I remember correctly I have already told you in one of your other 35 plow threads hahahah), but my old man bought a snow dogg plow last winter and is fairly dissatisfied with it. It is a decent plow and all, but it just doesn't compare (quality wise) to a boss or western. In his opinion, it isn't worth the slightly less cost of buying it for the much less product quality received.
Well he has a 1 ton IIRCC so he can use a bigger plow and handle the weight better. I try to do my home work the best I could when I was shopping. Fisher was heavy 30+lbs more than the other guys. Only reason why I didn't get a boss (like I wanted to) 1 was alot more money 2 is if I lose the pump I can't short chain there plows. Another big thing that made me go with snowdogg was the stainless steel, something that will never rust is very nice to me.
We'll see how it dose this winter.
My a friend of mine his bud up the street from him got one put on his 08 f250 8ft straight plow and he loved it. He plows comerical.

Yeah, the stainless feature is a big bonus if you ask me.
The plow should work out just fine for you... just wanted to throw out an opinion for you. I know you have been doing a lot of shopping, so you should have heard all of the good and the bad of each plow out there.
And yes, my dad has a 3rd gen 3/4 ton with the stainless v-blade. Overall it is nice, just not quite the quality of a boss or western (pretty much in every aspect you look at it - aside form the stainless blade of course!). Its not like they are junk plows or anything... nothing broke or failed last season for him.

we used on last year on a 3rd gen 3/4tn. at work, we plow residential and commercial. Held up good, but the truck took a beatin (dodge front ends) The only thing we didn't like was it didn't stack ery well and had a hard time on packed snow.. just not heavy enough compared to other models... but this could also be a benefit to you haveing a lighter plow on a lighter truck

Its not that he doesn't necessarily LIKE it, its just not the quality of the boss or western. The plow bracket on the frame and steel bracing on the back of the plow just doesn't have the "beef", and the actual mounting setup is nowhere near the quality of the others. Sure, you can take it on and off, but not as easily or as quickly (we were warned about that while looking at them). I didn't personally do much plowing with it last year (none at night), but I do remember him doing a little bit of whining about the lights too.
I don't have any pics, but I suppose I could get some. It looks just like the ones in the brochures and on there Internet site.
Again, it is by no means junk... he just said that if he had to do it over again, he would spend the extra $800 (or whatever it was) and get a western again.
You will be fine with the plow, I am sure of it. They come with a waranty, don't they?
2 year waranty I was looking at getting the plow set up so when I dropped the plow all the way down the truck head lights would come on they wanted another 120 I think. I'm gonna turn my bar around so I have the 2 spot lights facing forward to help see. 2 90 watt lights up that high should help. Or I could slap 2 lights on top of the back rack on the sides like I had planned and leave the bar alone.
