Default Got a problem......

I've got a 2001 Dodge Ram and my truck's got itself a problem and I've already gotten pulled over twice for it..............

basically my rear tailights and my instrument panel lights went out and it looks to me that I have good fuses.

I replaced the dim switch and it's still not doing anything and I'd prefer to not to take it to a mechanic, can anyone tell me what I should do?

My next step I think would be the wiring I guess but I'm not sure what do.

When you said you checked the fuses did you check the ones under the hood because your brake lights and instrument cluster share a common fuse. Well at least in my manual for my year try Fuse # 5 (20A)...

I will admit that I have not checked the fuse box under my hood, I only checked the ones right next to my instrument panel and they were good.

I'll have to look into it

check all the fuses. if ok, look for a bad ground in the tail lights.
