Got a build sheet for my '01 1500 4x4. There are "options" that I have NO idea what the h*ll they are. Anyone have any ideas? List of ???s at bottom of list.

Oh, and I checked and checked, then checked again that I gave the correct V.I.N., I did. So, next question is how would I get the title changed to a Jeep Ram 1500 4x4?

 

It says rack & pinion steering on all of I think.
Makes me wonder how many other things are wrong on their build sheets.

 

here in Iowa its $55 for the license tag versus the like 500-600 for an SUV here so im happy with the truck

 

I live in Ohio but the lot I bought the truck from got it in NY just a few days before. Is there possibly something "special" about NY trucks that Dodge would give them their own code? Something on the order of Cali. emissions, only for NY?

 

on mine it had one for NH...its where the trucks are sent when finished in production.

 

The rack and pinion is a mistake on almost all build sheets, the NY is probrably were the truck shipped to originally, the badge molding stuff may have been sent with the truck to be put on at the dealership but not done or they are common things added on the truck, and I have seen quite a few mistakes on buildsheets and missing info so they are not the most accurate.

Even one guy got two build sheets at different times and had some stuff that were different on both build sheets
