radiator insulation

Wink radiator insulation

I have a few peices of black insulation left over from my rebuild that came from somewhere around the shroud if i remember rite but i cant seem to make them fit any where. any of you hav ethese on your trucks? or know where i can look? i have tried a few parts web sites but they dont show my part. thanks

If they are what I think they are they go on each side of the radiator to kinda push the air towards it so it doesnt just go by into the engine compartment

This has nothing to do with the flaps, but are both those trans coolers functional, or did you just leave the oem one in there unhooked? Just curious.

the shiny black one is the trans cooler the one its mounted on is the condensor for the a/c, i dont see any factory trans cooler lines still there

i thought you were talking about those flaps too, you might want to snap some pics to help us out more.

i dont know about him, but my external cooler is run inline with the stock cooler, when i had my trans rebuilt they flushed the stock cooler and added that external

mine has factory one in the radiatior and a factory one between the radiatior and the a/c condensor

Sorry guys i wont have a camara till i get back to work Tm. its not the flaps though i have them in place already. They are like a black foam padding.

Are they kinda L-shaped? Only black foam padding I can think of are the little hood to cowl seal thingys that kept falling off mine and I kept gluing back on until I lost interest in them about 40k miles ago lol. And yeah that was the ac condensor in the pic. Didn't look at the pic too good apparently.
