if i was you i would look into something like the krc206 cam and maybe a new set of clearwaters. i bet that would give you some real good power.

Is the CEL flashing for a misfire?

If so, clean all engine grounds and the battery terminal contact points before you go chasing other problems

That sounds like spark knock or header leak.

hmm, i really hope its not my headers, i get it even if i set my SCT back to stock, do you think a bad plug could cause spark knock ?

it doesnt sound like its leaking from the outside hmm i need a good day off to check my truck out as of latley its been getting to be a money pit.

aim how long have you had your NGK iridiums in for ? mine been in about a year with 7000 on them .

I had mine in for 20,000k with no problems with a MSD box. I swapped just recently when I tried to install my camshaft back to NGK V-powers as the cam left me a little fund strapped at the time.

I didn't want to reuse plugs, though I probably could have. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to have an issue with a damaged plug and blame it on the cam, or spend time chasing unnecessary problems.
