Default Where did the 5.2 water temp sensor move to

Good afternoon,
my 94 has a newer 5.2 engine rigged into it and I would like to know where the newer engine water temp sensor should go. It used to be by the thermostat on the older one, but the casting is not machined there on the newer engine. At this time it is rigged into the heater hose.
The block serial number is 9M348 06042738 if you know what year that is.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
Scott

There should be 2 on the 94.

One will be underneath the A/C compressor in the intake manifold, the other will be behind the alternator in the intake manifold.

The motor is 98 or newer. They only use one sensor for gauge and pcm. You can chance machining the hole yourself or get and older intake.

Thanks for the replies.
That explains why someone rigged the one that was by the thermostate into the heater hose, but I doubt that gives an accurate reading. I may machine that while I have the motor out.
Thanks,
Scott

Get an older model intake (from JY) with that type and put a Hughes or APS plate on it, swap the sensors and call it a day.
