Default Debaging My Sport

I know there probly have been many posts about debaging, and I found the post in the FAQ'S section.....But! I have not been able to find anything on how to remove the decals from a sport model. Mine is a 1999 QC. From what I can see on the truck is that the decals are under the clear coat. How do I get them off? Can someone please steer me in the right direction?

Thanks, Brian.

try picking at it with your finger. (assuming your talking about a sticker) I dont think they would clear over a sticker....i've been wrong many times though

I'm with Jake, I don't believe they are cleared over. See if you get pick at it with your finger, if you can, get a hair dryer and heat it up, should come off fairly easily.

Stickers on cars arent usually bulky so just looking at them they seem to be cleared over but just work a letter at the corner of it and you should be able to scrape it away with your fingers...took mine off like that

A heat gun on low heat will make it nice and easy to get them off. They are just vinal stickers. Black truck you may have to buff your door and hood where the stickers were becasue of color fade.

Thanks for the replys guys. I will try a heat gun. Kraiger...funny thing is I don't have the "sport" on the side of the hood. Not sure if it was taken off by previous owner or it is a new hood as I bought it used from a dealer where someone traded it in.

Thanks again for all the replys!!
