help with truck
The other day i noticed my truck and 2001 dodge 2500 5.9 V8
was skipping and sounded like it was starvin for gas i drove it for a couple days hopin it would cure itself. On my way to school the truck was actin up really bad it was skippin and shakin and when i got on it about 40mph it would get worse then clear up a little bit. So i hooked up my scanner to it and it threw 2 codes at me The first one was Po301 Cylinder 1 misfire and po138 Bank 1 sensor 2 o2 sensor circuit high voltage ,the first one im tryin to get sorted outbut i am having a hard time detectin what happened i changed the oil in it last weekend and we had a 3 day heat wave and thats when it started and number 2 i do not know how to fix the high volt problem.Does anyone know what might be causin this and were can i get a diagram pic of the firing order for the 5.9 v8 engine i have tried google but all it does is show me pics of trucks.
Thanks Mike

Here is the factory service manual. It has EVERYTHING in it.

There is also a TSB around here somewhere about plugwire routing....
Hope this helps a little bit.

I pulled the plugs from cylinder 1 today and it looked fine just a little black on the bottom.i pulled the plug right next to cylinder one and it was a lot darker and had like a burn mark on the white part of the plug what would that be caused by and. i plan on replacin both of my o2 sensors because they are junk. What is a good way to get them off the cat without breakin them or myself
Now i heard another guy was having this same issue recently too?
He replaced all plugs, and notice he had a plug wire melted on his manifold or somthing like that. Check your plug wires an see if any are melted if so get them replaced asap, and do your plugs while your at it.
Hope I helped brotha!
