Question What is the loudest exhaust I can have on my truck?

I drive a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L Magnum V8 and I want the loudest exhaust possible. I don't know if that would be running straight pipes or putting a glass pack on it, or it might not be any of those. I honestly don't know a lot about exhaust and Magnaflow or Flowmaster so please let me know which system would be best for it being LOUD!

cut out your cat, have a crooked exhaust shop put in a straight pipe (illegal to have a shop delete any emissions equipment that came from the factory). Then get a glasspack muffler.

True duals would be even better. You are looking at paying about 1000+ for all that work.

Do you really want a truck that is more slow than it is loud? Because you won't be winning any races with a stock engine.

FYI, a 5.0 mustang and IROC camaro came from the factory faster than our trucks by about 4 seconds. That is a LOOOOOOONG time.

Depending on where you live be prepared to get tickets. Most states have a sound ordinance and the fines are pretty high for repeat offenders.

Have the lube shop put in the LOUD motor oil on your next oil change. If you want brighter lights change the headlight fluid. I would splurge and get the halogen fluid.
