Parts for a V-10 are limited because of how rare they are. So let's not forget that. Now that we have some more info about wtf he drives!

It's Chrysler's fault that their parts&service depts. don't have a simple gasket. Can you imagine - you go for a tune-up (which I saw them advertising at the dealer), but you have to wait 2 days for the TB gasket to show up, or worse case - they just put the old one back on, or even worse - the tune up consists of just spraying some in the TB...

Thank You! And welcome to DF. Azzhole! LOL. JK, don't get your panties in a bunch. Lot's of differences between 1500's and 2500's too.
Hehe, honestly, I never EVER said that the truck was 1500... You'll see me in a light-duty truck when you see a VW Beetle in my garage :P

I don't care how rare they are - Chrysler made them, thus is their obligation to have some basic parts on hand at the dealer. Again, we are talking about a gasket here.

That part was an assumption on my part(because of no info provided on your part), as far as you having a 1500 or not at first. The info is there now.And since I also have a 2500, which is alot different than a 1500(info we did not know at first) I hope you'll hang around here and I can help you in the future.

And btw, you should care that a v-10 is rare.

I think your dealer sucks too, but I have it worse my dealer lost their dodge license so they dont have sh^t in stock, but then again I get to chose from advance, auto zone, and napa which have a combined 5 stores within 5 miles.

Yup, I probably have 15 of them in my area and all of them suck donkey *****, plus 3 dealerships...

Tell me about it! It's the capital of Michigan, btw, so it's even worse. What's even more "funny" - Chrysler headquarters are 50 miles away from me... But Chrysler should also have a big chunk of the blame - they should set some kind of standards for the dealers they didn't shut down.

the Chrystler dealer near me told me my truck didn't have a plenum. I do agree completely with the "next time I'm buying a Ford" business. Honestly I wish the Japanese would make a short cab, long bed pick up instead of these 6 passenger 4 foot bed abominations. I'd buy one in a second. Never did understand the point of a pick up with a short bed. You cant go swimmin in those......
