Japanese trucks aren't any better.

My father-in-law won a brand new Nissan Frontier from one of his local "foreign" dealerships a few years ago. He's had more problems with that than I've had with my Ram, and his is about 5+ years newer and half the miles.

You can own a Dodge, Chevy, Ford, Nissan, Toyota, or whatever. They all have good points and bad when compared, but they are all going to have a lot of good units and a few "bad apples". Problem is, people usually don't talk much about their trucks when they're behaving, only when they misbehave and they either need help or want to complain about the problems they're having. People don't scream from a mountain top when they're having a good day with their equipment, only when they're pissed off about it breaking.
