dana 44 4.10 too good to be true??

i run 4.10s in my truck...love 'em....but im not sure if buying used is a good idea...IMHO id buy new...

so basically the innerd's of a dana 44 arent one size fits all i take it? i just put "dana 44 4.10" in the search line to get an estimate on prices, but richmond 4.10 for the rear end are like $375 on summit

nope Rubicon jeep axles are a completley different breed. its still a 44 but different,

so in short, no; a D44 isnt' a D44.................

There are special thick ring and pinion sets you can buy for the d44's in a Ram.So you don't have to buy a new carrier. I think Randy's ring and pinion is one place that sells them
