Just throwing this out there. I'm getting that same code. A smoke test showed that it was a bad leak detection pump. That's under the hood, passenger side, near the front corner so it's easy to replace. I haven't done it yet but hopefully that'll solve my problem. Maybe yours? Have you had a smoke test done? If you have vacuum leaks then I'd advise you get one done.

I had mine smoke tested when
I had that problem, but since right now 80% of his lines are probably full of charcoal a smoke test would be a waste of money, Like I wasted on mine. Until you get thosde lines clean theres no point, especially if youve already verified the canister is broken.

I just changed the clutch out over the weekend... Now getting this error...there was one vacuum hose coming from transfer case on up that appeared to have a check valve that came apart but we slid it back together...unless it didn't just come apart and broke...but it slid in...code says P0441 control unit? Help?

The vacuum hose on the transfer case has nothing to do with the EVAP system

That's "Incorrect Purge Flow", basically, the pcm isn't seeing a change in airflow (manifold pressure) when it commands the purge valve open. Might be a bad valve, might be a plugged hose, might be a broken hose.

Ok that's a good thing...and what I thought...I had no codes at all before doing the clutch...so the big armed guy I had top end reaching down to find the other end of the the vacuum hose probably just knocked a hose off or loose..cause I just changed my purge valve about 3 months ago and canister last year... so I just need to trace hoses from purge valve back... Thank you!
