Default Door panel bulge!

Hey all, noob to this forum.....
I have a bit of a problem, I recently replaced all 4 stock speakers in my '97 with kickers. The issue I'm having is with the front 6x9's bulging my door ( I know, I should have joined and researched on this forum before I set out on the swap :P). Both doors bulge slightly, not too noticeable, the problem arises from a rattle in the passenger door! Could this be related to the bulge or perhaps to not having the panel on properly (broken clips, etc.)? If a bulge problem, any recommended solutions short of cutting the panel and putting speaker grills on?

Thanks!!

i put kickers in mine i had to space them out about a 1/4 inch because the magnet would hit the window channel and mine bulge as well but not to bad i dont hear a rattle on mine though.

I put pioneer 6x9 in my doors didnt have a problem with a bulge but i had a rattle i that was not there before. took it back apart turned out to be a half round black thing with wires connecter to it swingin around i just used zipties to hold it so something now the only rattle is from broken door panel clips.

When I first read the title, I thought that your door panels are horny. Do they rub your legs while you drive? Road Head?

My doors have the aftermarket bulge, but no rattle. I replaced all my door clips with new ones when I reinstalled the panels.
I'd love to find a set of speakers that didn't make the door panels do that.

i used 1/4 nuts as spacers to move mine out away from the window frame. that added a little bulge to the panel, but its an ok amount.

use a door panel tool and remove your passenger side and see what the rattle is.

i would not cut holes in the door panels. i'd rather have a bulge than an ugly grill mounted on top.

I didn't need to space them out, however; I'll pull them off again to check and make sure I don't have any rouge wires or such dancing around. Then put new clips on. Hopefully that'll do me..........Thanks for the tips!!
