I avoid anything from Harbor Freight like the plague -- especially something like this, where one wrong move can result in the loss of life or limb.

I bought one a few years ago from tractor supply. Same as the one from Harbor Freight. I have changed many tires with no real issue. The bead breaker is a little lacking though. Its a little weak. I have bent mine a couple times. For balancing I have a bubble balancer from Harbor Freight. It may not be high speed balancing but I have never had a shake or a balance issue using it.

I went to walmart and they only charged me $10 per tire to swap and balance. I would call them.

and this looks like a good idea I would say its worth it if it gets used once or twice a year plus you will have friends coming over to use it.

Good thing I dont have to worry about dealing with mounting and balancing just put the tires in the bed and give my keys to my neighbor, and the truck comes back done and it costs me a bottle of rum
Unfortunately, I suspect the way it will work, is you will have friends coming over wanting YOU to work it for them......

Like how so many people are out to bash HF, a lot of the stuff they sell is actually pretty good for the money, feel free to bend over for Snap-On though.

I have a HF tire changer I bought a couple years ago and I've probably done over 100 tires on it, the bead breaker is a little flimsy but nothing my welder can't take care of.
