Default engine mod advice

found the cam i want lunati 292 bracket master II 480/480 can be used with stock internals just needs headers 9:1 compression and 3.50 gearing. i want to get 1.7 roller rockers,springs,lifters,push rods, anything else i should be looking for??? keeping stock heads and will be getting sct tune as well

i would get rid of the tuner, and get a real tune from SCT that will make a day and night diffrence also

Do you have a link to this cam?
As far as I know, Lunati doesnt make cams for Magnum engines only pre 90s LA & such (not interchangeable).

Comp Cam, KRC (Watson performance now) or Hughes is what everyone goes with in a Magnum mtr.

i plan on getting rid of the hypertech and going with sct tuner. trying to sell it so i can buy the sct

The reason they recommended getting rid of the spacer is that our trucks are port injected, not throttle body injected (TBI). On TBI vehicles, sometimes TB spacers help with power. With our trucks, all they do is delay the air getting to the cylinders by another tiny split second, which does nothing.

If you think you noticed a power increase after putting it on, no offense, but its just in your head.

good to know ill take it off and see if there is any difference.. if none then ill keep it on havent really seen any improvements or deprovements so it aint hurting nothing
