Hi..so i just joined here today and I am about to buy a dodge truck in few days ..that is if I like it and I would like your opinion on this truck.....I am going to go see in on sunday or monday..this is the link to the kijiji ad..

its $3300..i talked to her in the email and she said its a pretty good truck..only thing worng with it is the over drive...i just researched over drive on the internet but i could not find any information about if it would mess up your engine if you are driving withought overdrive and stuff..so if you guys have any comments..opinions please help me out...
also if there are any question that I should ask this lady when I go see this vehicle..please let me know..this is the first vehicle I am buying and i really want a ram 1500..


also as a note ..I asked her how the truck performs in the winter and all that and she replied saying this:

"No it isnt sold yet, It is great in the winter, always starts and has a remote starter, the heater works great, it has been in one accident where it hit a pole but it was take to a body shop and it got all redone about 6 years ago. It runs great still but the overdrive doesnt work( if you wanted it fixed it would cost about 400$). i am not sure about the insepction? its from alberta so i dont think it does.. but if that is a problem then we could get it inspected for you.

she does seem very friendly and honest but still any thoughts comments..

to be completely honest... i didnt even read the whole ad, all i saw was the first pic, the price, and the overdrive issue.... way over priced, look on craigslist, you can find much nicer rams for that price and not need to fix anything major. i say at least check craigslist before making a decision...

Gotta agree with the above. That one is way overpriced. Over 115000 miles, trans is going south, two wheel drive...... and they put a throttle body spacer on it???? WHY? Waste of money that....

Keep looking, you can find a lot better truck for LESS money.

 

Hi..ye I am looking on craigslist and kijiji...its 188171 kilometers ..3300 cad would be almost 3500 dollars US..ill still keep looking then..dont want to buy anything and then have to take it to shop

 

Yep, I just converted it to numbers that actually mean something to us americans. All that metric stuff just confuses us......

 

Maybe prices in US are cheaper then Canada? I dont see many good deals on kijiji or craigslist..and i need a vehilcle fast ..i am goin to see another ram 1500 hopefully today or tomororw..1996 160000kms v6..lets see how that one is

 

Yeah I am from Canada and that is way overpriced. It's only 2 wheel drive and that is overpriced for a 4 wheel drive. Do your self a favor and leave it there ...that would be my opinion.
