They hardly came then would go right off. Like it wasn't enough power to run them

This is confusing the hell outta me. Pulled the dome light and have an all time hot and I guess it's a ground. I have no damn idea how I'm suppose to wire these damn lights now. I hate screwing with relays

Since you have a 2001, have you downloaded the FSM from the FAQ section and looked at the wiring schematics?

Dude me and wiring diagrams don't get along. It seems a damn relay is my only option
