Default Where to weld 02 bung in at

I got a 1995 ram with the 5.2 in it, just bought a set of headers and wanted to get rid of the cat and run true dual exhaust. My question is where do i weld in the one 02 bung in at . I was trying to keep the stock y pipe intact to save money , i was gonna cut the pipes a quarter inch in front of the cat, and run two pipes out towards the rear, then noticed the 02 senser can i put it in one of the pipes. That does'nt sound right. How do you guys do it

You could put and X pipe in place of the cat and put the o2 bung right in the cross of the X.

An X(as sheriff stated) or an H pipe. Either way you need to install it in the spot sheriff stated, or you will only get a reading from one bank.

Put it in the X anywhere from 9 to 3 O'clock. Never put an o2 sensor in the bottom of a pipe, or condensation will ruin it quickly.
