Because I don't seem to have that problem.
There isn't one crack in my dash, and I am pretty sure it has the same one when it came off the assembly line.
Idk, I must be having good luck with my dash, but I may go with the black ABS plastic one of these days. And replace the old one.
I think they're all pretty notorious for cracking so you got lucky, just another area chrysler skimped on when it came down to it. Mine was cracked when I bought it. I just credit it to the TX sun and PO's not taking the time to keep it taken care of.

Well, I did them two different ways. Took one and split it open then covered it. Easier to cut, but ended up coming out less than perfect. After that we realized it'd be much easier to just slice the old fabric off and cover it, leaving a bit hanging off and stuffing the edges in to the seam of the visor. Came out much better, but I'm no pro. Overall I'm happy with it, but if you want it perfect it might take a pro's touch.

Mine weren't loose at all, so I can't really help there. My best guess would be looking somewhere around the mount, around the spring. Might be a bolt in there that tightens down the bar. Sorry I can't help.

I picked it up at JoAnn's fabrics, they have a pretty good selection if you have one locally. Might have to do some running around to local fabric stores. $12.99 a yard, I went ahead and bought 3 yards and it was enough to do the headliner, both visors, and still have a good amount left over. Whatever you end up getting, make sure it's the 60 inch wide fabric. And get some good glue. I highly recommend the 3M Super 90.

i cut off the old stuff, tossed the old mirror, cut out a pattern a little bigger than the visor, sewed up 3 sides, slipped it on and fold one side in the other of the opening and hot glued it shut. its fuzzy so you can even see a seam. the mirrors are clip ons from pep boys, took the brackets off and glued them on.

There from Iggee Custom Seats. You can get them from their ebay store, or through them directly.

I took it down to the board. The cloth will just yank off, then hit the foam with a good sized wire brush til your arm feels like it's gonna fall off, then light sanding will do the trick. At least that's how I went about it. Also used a light spray of windex to clean it up.

When I did mine I took off the fabric and scraped and rubbed off the old foam.It not hard, just time consuming.
