Death Wobble..HELP!
i have alot of friends that work in tire and suspension shops and they all tell me that balancing beads (the bags with the beads that they put in your tires) would take care of it but ive never dealt with balancing beads so idk, and yea i know how it feels to hear good things about something that you spent so much money on lol
Well I hate to say it Ash, but your front wheel bearing is the hub I was talkin'bout....I got mine a little cheaper from a parts store near here that gives me ''jobber price''. I believe it was 140$ CDN. All my wobble went away. Oversized tires cause the hubs to go bad very quickly, so at the first sign of a wobble, it should be the first thing you check, along with the steering damper. *IF* you do your track bar, don't cheap out, go with MOOG.... or one from a lift-kit maker, like Skyjacker.
For your back-up lights, like someone else said, check your linkage, but I bet it's your switch, and it's dirt cheap.
Hope you get to enjoy your truck very soon!!!

Yeah I know..im going to replace them and my ball joints tomorrow..I hope maybe that will fix my problem but we will see after i get them put on. The wobble aint nearly as bad as it was before i put the new tie rod ends on it..

Even if you had the stock reverse lights they wouldn't be much help. That's why I put the aftermarket fog lights under my bumper.
If there is no light at all behind me (street lights/porch light) then I flip them on.
They're handy when you're working behind the truck at night and they're great for tailgaters too, it'll make them back off a good bit as soon as you flash them.

Did you ever fix this deathwobble problem?? I have a.dodge and these people on here are wrong. Email me if you need help. Hdiryaanzz@gmail.com thanks
Thanks for the compliments on my truck. Im from NC. I was told earlier today I needed to check my track bar bushings, this wouldnt be such a pain if i knew more about it but I do the body work to vehicles not suspension or mechanical work, i know very little about it. The installer was the college auto tech teacher and he said things were fine with the lift..I refuse to drive my truck and I really hate to leave it in the driveway but the last mechanic i had look at it said $800 and he was gunna change a couple things, over 400 in labor after i looked up the prices of the parts he was going to put on..this really is the worse thing i have ever gone thru with my truck, its a great truck with a wonderful motor and tranny, just started doing this when i lifted it...
Howzabout you explain how and why we are all so wrong, right here in public.
