Hey guys so I was wondering if it would be cheaper to get hub adapters to go from the 5x5.5 pattern to 6x5.5 pattern?Or change out the axles?If an axle swap is it then how do I do it?

 

What's the motivation here? Got a good deal on some six lug wheels?

For the rear, just changing the axles/drums would probably be adequate to the task, the front, however, is going to be a bit more problematic...... Might be able to fab something up using GM parts.... but, I don't think that GM had any six lug two-by's either...... Redrill the rotors/hubs? Probably rather expensive. (not that axles and drums are going to be "cheap", unless you get them used....)

 

I actually have a set of six hole rims I got for free from an uncle of mine.They have 35" BF Goodrich A/Ts on them.I know people who do fab work so it's no problem.

 

Sell the rims, put the $ towards a set of 5 lug.

Alright guys I will probably sell or maybe look for a trade for some 5lugs.I'm sure someone is looking for a set of 6 lugs.
