Hello All,

I am a first time Dodge owner, got a 2001 Ram 1500, 5.9 4x4. and started having tranny trouble at 130 miles.

So...here I am lookin for help/advice

Shucks, I got almost 2000 miles on my used Ram before the trans started giving up grief! I was hoping to get 5k to 10k on it.

I ordered up my nicely built new transmission yesterday. If you can afford it that's the way to go.

It'll last a lot longer without those slippery slidy grandma shifts, and with higher clutch apply pressure, higher quality bands and clutches, and so on.
