4.10 gears and posi tomorrow need help

The most i ever got was 2900-3000 at 85 MPH (in overdrive). I don't drive much faster than that. ANd mostly only about 75 MPH. But I am in Arkansas and the highways are not very crowded where I am at. Now if I were back in jersey I would hardly see 80 MPH with the traffic.

4.10s will go a lot easier on your tranny as well. You are prolonging the life of your tranny.

F**kin happy with the everything glad I got them I'm going to try and get pics of me doing a burn out later if not tomorrow

Dude, you're going to burn up (score) those gears if you don't break them in correctly.

Yea but I could resist I going to take it easy for a while, and all they told me was to just drive it home easy and to leave it cool down over night and everything would be good.

And how am I prolonging the life of my transmission would the gears put more wear and tear on the transmission

No, because with those gears, the truck get's moving with less stress on the tranny. Providing of course, you don't do a burn out from every stop and keep it under 110.
