Default help question about leaking transfercase

got my truck 2 weeks ago 2000 dodge ram 1500, i noticed a leak between the transfercase/transmission so i dropped the transfercase and replaced the seals on both ends, well about a week later i looked at it and its leaking again... same spot when i was going to refil the transfercase with the oil i took the plug out and noticed the previous guy overfilled it, so i hurried and put the plug back in so atm its a lil over filled, would that cause it 2 leak again? idk help please

There is one on back of the tranny too. Check the fluid level in the tranny. It may be that one leaking. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...placement.html

Would have been nice for you to say that. Anyway, maybe you damaged one or the other when you reinstalled the TC.
