Question Help! Differnance between 96 ram 1500 and 2500 door wiring harness.

Dose anyone know a diagram to make these 2 wiring harness's work? I bought a 1996 2500 to fix up and went to the junk yard and found a 1996 1500 passenger door i needed for my truck. When i got home the wiring harness plugs are different. Anyone know how to make this work?

On my 2500 truck, there are 8 wires one one plug, and 8 on the other, on the 1500 door there are 8 one one, and 6 on other?

I only have the wiring for the 1997
May help you to identify the needed wires by color.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but as I said. Use your original harness.

I have the same issue. I'm going to attempt to switch the door harness. Any additional advice would be helpful. Thanks

they should plug right into each other... the only differences should be if there some added feature like power mirrors and the truck doesn't have them the extra wires will not connect to anything as the plug pin outs for those pins will be disconnected... or vise versa if the truck had power mirrors or locks/ windows and the door doesnt... otherwise its the same door?
