3 Cables to TB on 95 with 318
OK, I just changed my TB to a Fastman 50mm. It has 3 cable connections going to the throttle linkage. I know the one from the cruise and the gas petal. What is the 3rd one for?
Also, how the hell do you get that one coming from the cruise back on? I have tried twice but both times I take for a drive and notice it is back off. Also, does anyone know if this would cause the cruise light to stop coming one? I get why my cruise won't engage, but could the cable being off cause the indicator light to stop coming on?
thanks

One is for the gas "petal", one is the cruise, and the other is the TV cable. If you didn't pull the TV cable towards the front of the truck to disconnect it, you broke it, and that's why it won't stay on.
OK, TV cables, THANKS. I forgot about those. Yea, the TV cable has been broken for a while. It is the one on the outside of my linkage. It stays on but has a lot of slack on it. How do you adjust these things. I remember it was a big deal on my old 83 Hurst \ Olds.
I have noticed my truck shifts like a luxuary autombile...
The cruise cable is the one I can't get to stay on. It mounts to the inside of the linkage and is forward pull back also. It is not broken. It seems to be on but I am not feeling a slight click.

All three have the same type connection. They need to be pulled off forward or backward(a manual or the directions the FASTMAN came with will tell you that), not to the side. If you break it, a new cable is the only way to fix it.
