Sounds like the battery is junk. You can't put a "little" charge into it. Seems like you want to give up though, so just junk it, that's much easier.

could be a dead cell in the battery, so it wont charge regardless of what you do, it will still crank a little with a dead cell.

Well haven't given up just yet. I tried to jump the starter and when I went to start it it turned over again. I sprayed a bit of starting fluid in and it started then died.

I put somemore fuel in just to be sure. When I turn the ignition on the fuel gauge doesn't even move.

Just getting frustrated with it right now. No I wont junk it its been to good of a truck

Ok tested the codes. Came up with 12 and 37. 12 is battery disconnected and 37 is torque converter clutch solenoid CKT or trans temp sensor to high or low.

Thinking maybe the battery then. Dose have a bit of damage in the corner. I threw a little charge and tried to start it. I just checked it with my multi-meter and it shows 11.84v

Ok just tried a different battery. Still no start.

Ok maybe the fuel pump? Now if the fuel pump is bad would it cause the fuel gauge to not read as well? Or maybe something else in the fuel power supply system?

possibly....my fuel guage doesnt move at all either, stuck on full....but its not dead yet, so yes its possible the floater and pump craped out. our fuel pumps arent very strong.

have you put a guage on the fuel rail to test psi? it should be at 49psi.

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge.
