By "union" you mean connecting the flared ends of both line's with nuts on them and put together right? Not a compression union? And those blocks on the rear diff housing are stock. I wouldn't stack the block's, but I'm sure you'll get replies about lift's on here, from some one with experience on that subject. Or do a search in 2nd gen ram, there are tons of threads on lifting.
