i have a 2000 off-road edition and i am going to install a leveling kit in the next few days do i need to buy new shock? and if so do i need 2 or 4 inch lift shock?and if anybody has a off-road with a spacer tell what u think about it?

 

If you are just putting in 2 inch coil spacers, the stock shocks are good.

The lift should only be on the back to my knowledge. You should be ok up front with your current shocks.

 

Exactly, and the factory shocks make up for that.

I completly diagree keeping the stock shocks on the front, unless you like to feel you shock being pulled out more than it should be...and I think the Offroad edition is awsome..

 

LOL! The offroad ... Oh the hell with it. Ramingo is right. Do what he says........ and I think a 2500 is awesome. And my front end is not smashed up.LOL

 

LOL, na zman I was'snt trying to bash or anything, I was just saying that when you keep the stock red shocks of the Offroad edition and and add the 2" spacer it tends to limit the suspension. what do you mean by smashed up?

 

It's better to top out on a cheap shock then on a ball joint.
