Default what do I do first, MSD or COld air intake ??

Ok, so I have some extra cash and am either going to add the MSD 6A or the K&N intake kit. The question is which will give me the best MPG increase, as that is the major factor in the first mod. The second mod and headers will follow within the year, but I want to do something soon before I start hauling the camper all over the country side.

I have a 96 2500 HD with the 5.9

Do you have that?

I was wondering about it.. I saw it at jcwhitney.com but I was just wondering if it would restrict at low speeds. Like when Im not going so fast in the forest and I rev the engine and want some power. I thought long and hard about that. I ended up just going with the K&N cause its so simple just a straight shot to the throttlebody. I didnt think I could go wrong.

Would like someone to tell me about theres if they own one

thx

Thanks guys, cold air it will be then. I do want the MSD though as the next upgrade, there is absolutly no agruing about how much difference it made in power and mpg in the Toyota.

is that with the msd? or the CAI? the msd on the big rams didnt do to much from what I could tell. the only thing I noticed was the motor seemed to rev easier at low rpm's which usually means the fuel mixture is getting burned more. couldnt tell by the butt dyno of any increase. I'd think it would have to do with the power to weight ratio...
