Default 94 ram 318 tow rig

i just lost my job and had to sell my 08 hemi...i got a 94 ram 1500 with the 318 and auto trans long bed...my problem is i am using it to pull my 32 ft car hauler with a 93 dakota mud truck and my 30 ft camper (no not at the same time lol). The truck runs really good but getting on the highway i feel as if it needs more. I need more pulling power this truck is stock as a rock i need to know the route to go to get it more capable to pull...

At 32' I am guessing it is a deck over/ gooseneck which is a heavy trailer. My opinion would be to slow down and enjoy the ride. It's a big difference from the HEMI. Just take it easy on the old truck until some of these other guys chime in. Not sure what works for the 318 here.

Well, a SCT tuner would help, maybe cold air intake. Maybe even a mild cam, nothing over the top. Or save up money, an get you a 5.9? idk...

He has a 94(OBD1) so no SCT Tuner for him.

I say get some 4.10 gears if you still have the stock 3.55. That will help tremendously.

I second the gears. Prrobably the single most gain that will help you. And not to mention probably the cheapest if you can do it on your own.
