Maybe you should explain the problem you are having! Maybe the PCM is not bad.

I could be wrong, but all you need to do is have your current PCM flashed by the dealer. They have to correct the VIN# anyway.

I took a 318 out of my 98 dodge and put a 99 360 in.
I asked about my PCM on this forum and was given the advise of finding
a PCM out of a 98 or 99 w/ a 360 or to get mine flashed.
Because the one for the 318 will make it run lean.
I work at a frtliner semi truck dealer as the partsmanager and have been in dealerships for 30 years.
I have seen the helpful , good ole boy, help someone out, chrg em a lil bit for a lil bit of wrk go away over the years and full blown screw you in the rear labor chrges being applied so that is why I perfer to try and stay away from dealerships.
Hopefully that will help clarify my comments.

I hear you man. Hope I didn't come off as a *****. As far as you PCM you have for sale, you might have a better chance selling it in the "parts for sale" section,. However they require that you take pics of it.

So you'd rather spend 200 + bucks instead of going to the dealer and let them flash it and at the same time the VIN will be corrected for 80 or 90 bucks? OK
