no, just the vacuum actuator, and T-Case switch....ruled out it wasnt the collar hitting, for he took it out, drove it and it still did it.

but today is me and my fiancee's anniversary, so i bought her a digital camera....ill be taking pics when i take it out tomorrow...first thing im doing is removing the tailshaft to check for the snap ring problem....

i need to take transfer case out anyway because its leaking between the t-case ad tranny a little bit...so does that take a gasket, seal or just RTV?

and ill post pics of my rocker panal job lol

You might not have to take the aluminum disk that holds the seal on the transfer case input shaft out of the transfer case to get the seal out.
You might be able to pop the seal puller through the metal on the face of the seal and work your way around it to get the seal out.
That would make it where you wouldn't need any sealant at all.
