Default Has anyone got ambitious with their interior wiring?

...and swapped a basic dash harness to a "high"line version? I was thinking about trying it, with the matching CTM, I could add all the options my truck is missing (power/heated seats, keyless entry). Does it matter if the dash harness is from a diesel (2500/3500)?

Going into a 99 Ram 1500, 5.9l v8, 46re SLT Laramie 4x4

Screw adding more power stuff. More hard to replace stuff to break. Stick with the manual stuff. Will last way longer and is 10x easier to replace. My power locks have already gone out and are a PAIN to replace, WISH i would have got manual as thats what I do now and its easy.

Want keyless entry:
shave door handle and get an alarm with extra button to pop em open.

That wiring stuff in your dash is nuts, BUT if you do decide to do it your going to be stripping the whole interior. May as well do heater core and evaporator too :P

got the truck finished up today, starter her up and bled the coolant system. NO LEAKS! oil pressure was fine the entire time, and took the truck for a spin, and the oil pressure never acted up! so id say its fixed probly just some strange thing that happened. i want the keyless entry because its easier to unlock the truck when you have a child, or 2 in your arms.
