Before I did the the Tranny I installed new plugs,wires, cap and Rotor, The plug wires may be suspect. The guy who I bought the truck from had them
so I used them instead of buying recommend wires that I have seen here on the site.

Today I got a real good drive out of it, It felt good to drive a truck again,
The check engine light was going crazy...lol and It is now at a friends shop where we will put the code reader on it tomorrow, Dont ask me why but this gets me excited...LMAO!!!

Ok, so why is it my check engine light was going ballistic yesterday and today I throw on a OBDII Scanner and there are no stored codes?

I'm thinking your plenum gasket is blown and the cat is shot. Get under it and wrap the converter and see if it rattles inside. I'd also check the fuel pressure with a gauge.

Hell Z I can here it rattlin when its runnin!!!! lol anyway to bypass it?
Ive check the Plenum for oil Its dry as a bone

How did you check the plenum? And if I was you I'd get a Magnaflow cat to replace the OEM while the exhaust is being done.

I opened up the TB and Peered inside with a Flash light and theres no oil or residue .
