I can't tell from the pics if it is deep enough to use an EZ Out on it?

Careful with that....metal and aluminium don't react to heat the same way and it may cause a leak. I never tried it myself, but I would really monitor it afterwards if you go that way.

Galvanic corrosion would be a concern too. But if you use something like Loctite (the kind made for parts that need to be removed frequently) it should act as an insulator.

Odd, my 95 has a large hex head, not an allen. Maybe my plugs have been replaced at some point in it's past

A regular most likely will not work anyway, it needs to be pipe thread.
