Sorry this dumb question but what's FSM? I have the Haynes manual but I can't see any way to find the wires at the PCM

FSM stands for Factory Service Manuel.

No one has said this yet, but is it possible that your accelerator cable is getting caught up?

Already checked,.....not the problem. I don't know what to do.
If I turn off the key with the truck in high idle, when I turn on again next day or in a couple of hours, gonna be OK. This maybe isolate the PCM (no faulty).

[QUOTE=Sixtysixdeuce;2302989]...

Now, to correctly determine if the IAC has failed, you need a scanner with bi-directional capability; You need to be able to control the IAC and compare desired vs. actual RPM. Without that ability, you're guessing. Unplugging the unit won't tell you anything. They're stepper motors, and will stay exactly where they were.

[QUOTE]

where can I get this scanner and how to use?

Wink Sensors are monitored at idle

Since these are the sensors monitored at idle the problem should be here isn't it?

Idle mode (Once at Operating Temp: CLOSED LOOP)

A/C Select (if equipped)
A/C Request (if equipped)
Battery Voltage ...............................................che cked OK
Coolant Temp.............................................. ....OK as per scan tool
Crank Position.......................................... ........Didn't check
Intake Air Temp (IAT).......................................Didn't check
MAP............................................... ..................Not clear how to check(Volt measure not clear
TPS............................................... ...................Checked OK
Cam Position.......................................... ...........Didn't check
O2 Sensors........................................... ............Needs to trace wires to the PCM
Park/Neutral Safety Switch (Automatics Only)......Do I need to check this?

A scanner with that capability is rather expensive. What brand is the IAC's you are getting?

I didn't know that but it was the only choice at that store..too bad, well, now what? Maybe they won't change the IAC anymore (this is the second one). It is not cheap to trash it and buy a new one but in that case wich brand do you recommend?
I will try to clean the original I removed and see what happens...I will post results
